Fun game of sledge hockey helps a good cause

South Coast Special Needs Kids’ sledge hockey team faced off against members of the Norfolk County OPP detachment Sunday in Waterford.

“This is the biggest game of the year for the kids,” said Ron Guthrie, president of South Coast Special Needs Kids Inc. “They look forward to it every year. We have started playing against other teams, businesses and community groups, but this one is the highlight of the season. It’s always the last game of the season – just lots of excitement for the kids.”
